Charlie Perkins Scholarships for Study at Cambridge or Oxford (Deadline Dec. 15)

FUNDING FYI: 

Each year, the Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust offers two scholarships for Indigenous Australian postgraduate students to study for up to three years at either Cambridge or Oxford universities.

To be considered for a Scholarship, applicants must have applied for, or be in the process of applying for, a course at Cambridge and/or Oxford for the 2015-16 academic year. 

 

Applicants must also submit:

·         the Charlie Perkins Trust application form

·         a cover letter

·         a curriculum vitae (CV)

·         an official transcript of university results

·         confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent

·         written reports from 5 referees (see website below for details)

Please note that applications will close at 5pm AEST on Monday 15^th December 2014.  The Charlie Perkins Scholarships will only be awarded to students who are accepted to study at either Cambridge or Oxford.  In most instances, admission will require a First Class Honours degree or a very strong Second Class Honours degree.
