When to apply
Please consider scholarship application deadlines when preparing your graduate research degree application. Many Faculties and Graduate Schools will assess applications for admission at any time, but there is only one application round for the major scholarships.
- 31 October for the international IPRS scholarship. Applications received after this date will still be considered for MIRS/MIFRS scholarships
- 31 October for local students (citizens of Australia, New Zealand or Australian permanent residents)
- 11 January for PhD supported by China Scholarship Council applications
Applications must be received by these deadlines. Please visit the Melbourne Scholarships website for details. Applications received after these dates will be considered for scholarships that remain at the time of assessment.
